I have been hugely fortunate to work with so many great organisations helping them to solve complex business problems through user centred design.
Here’s a flavour of the sorts of things I’m doing at the moment, typical briefs I’m asked to work on and an idea of the types of organisations I’ve worked with in the past.
I’m currently conducting discovery research to help inform the product strategy of a new public information service in collaboration with Google and the publishing industry.
I’ve just finished a ‘discovery plus’ project for NHSx that focussed on identifying where the physical health check service for people with severe mental illnesses is currently underperforming and how it might be improved.
I recently redesigned the information architecture of the UK governments flagship mental health site ‘Every Mind Matters‘ to make it easier for people to find information designed to help them take action to improve their mental health.
Typical briefs I work on
I help my clients to solve complex problems such as…
‘Help my organisation to produce better products and services while reducing the cost to serve our customers.‘
‘Help us reimagine how digital could transform the way we serve our customers’
‘My product / service isn’t performing. Help me understand why and tell me what I should do to improve it.‘
‘Help the board to understand what our service needs to look like in order to deliver the new corporate strategy’
‘We need to reduce our customer support costs, how can we make it easier for our customers to self serve?‘
‘Help us understand the complete user journey to help us stop losing customers to our competitors.’
‘Help us ensure that our new service will work across a diverse global customer base.’
‘Help us to define a vision for our product.’
‘Help us to see the world through the eyes of our customers.’
‘Help us define what the MVP should be’
‘Teach us how to be user centred and to do user centred design’
