I work as a Experience Director & Strategic Consultant at cxpartners, a UK based user centred design consultancy.

I specialise in leading and consulting on large scale, multinational and multidisciplinary user centred design programmes of work that deliver positive outcomes for the people who use them and the organisations that commission them. 

My work is all about making peoples lives better through the design of useful, usable and commercially viable products and services that help organisations to thrive.

I love sharing my knowledge and experience by teaching others and helping to progress our industry through my writing, teaching, speaking, mentoring and running industry events.

I consult on a portfolio of large scale user centred design projects for world class organisations across all sectors, helping them to thrive by optimising their products and services.

Head of UX, e3Media (now Great State)
(2005 – 2008)
I ran the UX team and was responsible for building the UX proposition and for the UX design across all client accounts.

Intranet Services Manager, Environment Agency
(2003 – 2005)
I ran the intranet service and helped to build a culture of UCD within a complex organisation of 11,000 employees distributed across the UK

Information Architect, Amaze
(2000 – 2002)
I helped to define and grow the UX proposition within the agency, helping to define and design user centred ways of working across key accounts.

Research Assistant, University of Leeds
(1998 – 2000)
I designed and built a tool for public health specialists to use to help manage outbreaks of waterborne diseases.
